Prices

Ship Ahoy offers an exceptionally affordable holiday let experience, with prices starting at just £495 for a seven-day stay, varying by season and peaking at £1400 during high season.

Our standard rental period runs from 4 pm Friday to 10 am the following Friday, allowing a brief window for our dedicated cleaning team to prepare the property for the next guests.

Additional charges include £25 per dog per stay.

Ship Ahoy felt very welcoming, the wine & chocolates and treats for the dog were a lovely touch when many places don’t do that anymore. The owners have thought of everything from a dishwasher to an air fryer, which again was great, the only thing that could be improved is more cutlery & utensils, if the dishwasher was one, then there was nothing to eat with, as only 4 of everything. Other than that, I would recommend.

We enjoyed our week away at ship Ahoy very much with our two dogs, great to be so near to the beach. It's a great base for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Thank you for the wine and chocolates, and the treats for the dogs.

We both had an enjoyable and comfortable four days here. It’s our third year coming to Ship Ahoy, and it’s got to be the best place in Walcott. And I would highly recommend this to anyone, it’s like a home-from-home experience. The goodies on arrival were a nice surprise.

We have stayed at ‘Ship Ahoy’ a few times and yes, would recommend it for a quiet holiday. Lovely beach with miles of golden sand. The bungalow itself is warm and has a very spacious lounge.

Lovely place to stay. Lots of little extra touches that were appreciated, like chocolates/wine/treats for the dog. The wood-burning stove was lovely.

Stayed for 5 nights as a family of two adults, two children (14 and 11 years), and two dogs. Very quiet location with one shop, one cafe, one chippy and one pub within walking distance - all good so what more could you need…Ship Ahoy was clean and comfortable with TV, games, WiFi, a fully stocked kitchen (equipment that is..) and a small enclosed area outside for dogs. Some nice touches like dog bowls and treats, plus chocolates and wine for us. Very good value for money and would happily recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed here, 4 adults and 2 dogs. It’s a real gem with amazing views of the stunning coastline. The accommodation has everything you could need for a relaxing break and lots of lovely little extras thrown in by Mike, the owner, whom we met this year. What a lovely guy, nothing was too much trouble. Long walks on the beach, two pubs and a fish & chip shop all within walking distance, what more could you ask for?

We had a very chilled time at Ship Ahoy. Perfect for us and our dog. The sauna was added bonus. Great location for views and walks, and not too far from a well-stocked local shop and cafe/fish and chip shop. A short drive to Stalham for a large supermarket. The Sawn pub in Stalham did a great Sunday lunch, the dog was welcome too. The house itself was warm, clean and comfortable. We loved all the quirky pictures and a lovely welcome pack for us and the dog. Thank you

Well, what a lovely holiday! The cottage is very comfortable, we have been to the area before, the weather was lovely and listening to the sea with the doors open is an added bonus just wish we had booked an extra week did not want to leave yesterday. Our dog enjoyed it with nice treats for him and ourselves. There is a lot to do around the area, but nice to just be able to chill, which was needed would love to come back again soon.
